Story
Eastbourne Borough Council (EBC) have stopped public and club access to tennis courts gifted by the Duke of Devonshire (circa 1879).
Denying public and club access to the grass courts of Devonshire Park LTC will hinder the success of future tennis generations as well as ending one of the longest tennis heritage's in the world!
EBC are focused on commercial tournaments instead of continuing 140 yrs of club history.
We are seeking public awareness, your support and donation so that we can convince EBC to reinstate access to our beloved courts.
We are asking for your help to achieve our fundraising goal of £80,000 as this is the current estimate for legal fees in order for us to fight our cause.
Just £1 from each Eastbourne resident will help us reach our goal!

It would be such a shame to lose not only DPLTC but public access to this magnificent facility, which should be available to the local residents as it has always been.
