Weʼve raised £350 to Save Max

    Newport, United Kingdom
Funded on Monday, 9th October 2017

    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

UPDATE.....thanks to your kindness Max is now safe and snug with his new owner but he does still desperately need these funds to cover the associated costs of taking Max on which he did out of pure kindness so please help us reach target if you can. Many, many thanks.

Please help Max if you can. He is now so close to safety, with your help Max could be in a loving home next week. Max is an 8 year old bull mastiff/staff cross in South Wales who was typed under BSL as a pup. Max has never hurt anybody. He has had two much loved owners pass away which has led to his current situation. Max has been on death row in police kennels for over a month and thanks to lots of hard work behind the scenes he has had two 11th hour 'stays of execution'. At the last minute Max's guardian angel has come along. A very good friend of mine has come forward to give max a home out of the kindness of his heart. This person volunteers in animal rescue and Max will have a VERY good home. The problem is there are huge costs involved. A previous fundraiser raised half of the money needed for legal costs etc but the problem is the new owner needs to find this amount to cover all costs and insurance. With this in place max will have a loving and warm new home next week in South Wales and he will be SAFE. This is a genuine appeal, many of you will know I post to these sites daily on animal welfare and lost dogs, I am also an admin on a South Wales doggy site. My friend is reluctant to be named as he doesn't want to advertise that he will have a typed dog. Please, please help, it's been a very stressful month, there was one day when we weren't even sure if Max hadn't already been put to sleep. We are now so close to the finish line and with this in place Max can begin the new life he so deserves next week. Happy pictures to follow hopefully. Please don't feel you can't donate if it's a small amount....every pound adds up!

Thanks to all of you, Max is settled into his new home, warm, safe and happy and getting on well with the other two doggies in the family. Things would have been so different without your help. You helped his rescuer to save his life ❤️❤️

UPDATE.....Max is now safe thanks to you all but we still need help to cover his costs. I have been involved in trying to save Max for over a month, we are now at the final hurdle and this money will see Max in his safe new home.
