Nestling in the heart of the Southern Upland Hills, Moffat is a conservation town with a rich heritage and history. It is renowned for its outdoor activities such as hillwalking, cycling and motorcycling, as well as its Dark Sky status. This unspoilt scenic area is threatened by industrial-scale wind farm development which will destroy our biodiversity, our heritage, our landscape. Save Our Hills Moffat aim to raise awareness of the proliferation of wind farms in our area. We want to ensure that our beautiful countryside is not overwhelmed by this unbalanced evolution. We acknowledge the need for renewable energies and believe that such development should go hand-in-hand with local community aspirations and support local renewable energy projects which are fit for scale and fit for purpose.
Please help us carry out our aims.

You have worked so hard to put together an excellent case for stopping this project from ruining our town. Keep up the campaign.

These monsters are going to spoil our valley forever. My family have lived in Annandale for over 500 years and this is our heritage and countryside. This must be stopped.
