CAPABILITY BROWN’S WIMBLEDON PARK
HELP US PROTECT AND PRESERVE IT!
Wimbledon Park - one of Capability Brown’s celebrated landscapes - is under threat from the multimillion-pound commercial expansion of the Wimbledon Tennis Championships.
All England Tennis has applied for planning permission to build a stadium and 38 new tennis courts on this historic site.
The Capability Brown Society is campaigning to save the Park, whose unique heritage, environmental value, open space and beauty will be lost, if All England are allowed to turn it into a giant tennis centre!
To all those who care about Capability Brown landscapes, about open spaces, or about the Park’s unique heritage and environmental value – we need your help! Please support our campaign.
Your donations will be used to raise awareness of the campaign, build community and political support, and to take the matter to court if the overwhelming case against planning permission is ignored.

A very worthy cause - Aeltc's plans & proposals for the Park will ruin Capability Brown's landscape - and the Park will lose its status as a Grade II* Historic England Listed Park & Garden

Community engagement should include refurbishing the damaged hard courts in Wimbledon Park, or adding Basketball Courts (or even Padel?). And cheaper Wimbledon Tennis tickets to local residents.
