Hello family, friends, dog lovers,

Some of you may have seen our posts regarding a beautiful tiny puppy we found dumped in a busy carpark amongst a load of rubbish bags in Fira, Santorini (Greece).

He is now named “Archie”.

We don’t know how he happened to get there but at first when we found him he was scared and hiding. He had dirt and gravel all in his little fur. We thought at first he had problems with his hind legs, but we now realise this is just where he’d been hiding in amongst the bags as he is now walking fine.

At first we were unsure what to do so we left him, then went back. He cried and ran to us as if he knew we’d come to save him.

Its heartbreaking how anybody could just dump a tiny little creature in the rubbish without food and water. But we have since come to learn this happens a lot in Greece.

Archie is now in a vets in Santorini where he needs to stay for another 4-6 weeks until he is old enough to travel.

We have a friend who is going to adopt him into her family as soon as he is ready to travel to the UK.

Archie is roughly 6-8 weeks old and has already had his first set of injections but needs another two injections before he can leave the vets at around 10-12 weeks old.

My husband Jonny and I have already paid some Euros to cover his first week at the vets, first injections and a collar with name tag. We are hoping to raise money to help cover the rest of his stay at the vets, his injections, documents and his travels to the UK.

Please help!

Archie is such a beautiful, intelligent, trusting little doggy he deserves to be loved and deserves to be part of a loving family. We saved him! But we just need some help supporting him along his way to his forever family!
