Boa vista, cape verde, has a huge problem of street dogs and cats. Many animals on the street are suffering homeless and alone, starving, with mange and other diseases, hit by cars and even by stones and people.

Many other animals are in homes, but have had accidents or need veterinary attention. The shelter offers treatment and accomodation to all dogs and cats in need... it is saving and changing lives.

The sanctuary, Association Nerina, is well equipt, but is in desperate need of a full time vet ( or placements of 6 months or more) and are in desperate need of supplies and funds for vets fees, a car to go pick up injured animals, foods, medication, collars, care items etc

This is a project that is doing very good work, saving animals lives and caring for them, giving them a chance of a forever home, and offering love dignity and respect.

Ive set the target at €1000, but if we can make €10,000 all the better.
