    Story

Please meet Fran, the latest dog saved by All Animals Rescue and Re-home (AARR) in Essex.

Fran is an English Bulldog who has clearly suffered for months before she found herself dumped and in the dog pound. She has recently been bred and on top of the appalling state she is in from being starved, she has severe infections in both ears as well as issues with her eyes – both of these conditions could have been avoided with the correct treatment, but she may now need surgery to put it right.

She will need extensive treatment for the effects of the malnutrition – she has no real muscle tone so is quite unsteady on her legs, we will look into hydrotherapy to help with this once she is stronger.

The saddest part is how utterly terrified she is of everything, including people and her surroundings. This poor girl has had a dreadful time and would have been put to sleep had she not been rescued and this is all down to the utterly despicable person(s) that caused/allowed this to happen. She will need to be rehabilitated not only in health, but also in mind so she can learn that life isn’t all about fear, pain and suffering, which is clearly all she has known up to now.

We are going to do everything in our power to put right the wrongs she has suffered. As always though, this is going to come at a cost so please, if you can, donate to her cause or share her story – AARR will do the hard work, will you support them in their efforts to show poor Fran that not every human is a monster?

    Thank you for caring xx

Thank you so much to everyone who has supported the campaign. Fran is doing ok, she is eating and gaining steady weight, but has been fairly unwell due to all her other ailments. She needs surgery on her eyes, which will be done as soon as our vet says she is well enough. Her skin is still a concern, but we are working on it! Fran herself still enjoys the company of the resident dogs, she is especially fond of our sanctuary French Bulldogs! Please keep sharing her story, she needs all the help she can get xx
