I begin in the name of Allah.

A genocide and ethnic cleansing happening to our muslim brothers and sisters in Rohingya. The heart breaking reality is plastered all over social media yet the world watches on, silent and unresponsive.

Alhamdulillah we have been blessed with peace, and luxuries that they can only dream off - therefore it is our duty to do whatever we can in support of our brothers and sisters who are fleeing prosecution and attacks on a daily basis.

I will be climbing the highest Mountain in UK 'Scaffell pike' this weekend inshaAllah and have decided to use this opportunity to raise awareness and much needed funds for our Rohingya brothers and sisters. The least we can is ssupport them with the means we are capable of.

As many as 3,000 Rohingya have been killed, either shot to death or burned alive, and thousands of homes burned, in the latest outbreak of violence.Over 379,000 Rohingya have fled across the border into Bangladesh in recent weeks amid a spate of attacks on their villages.

This dire terrible situation, where our mothers and sisters are being raped and killed, our children slaughtered and our men burnt alive is unacceptable. We as an ummah HAVE to act and help them by any means possible.

I request of you to find it in your hearts to donate a small amount to help me reach target. Even £5 - £10 will make a big difference in their lives.

What answer can we give to our Lord when questioned about this massacre? How did we stop this inhumane treatment of the most vulnerable people of our ummah?

Let us spend in the path of Allah and support our Muslims worldwide and make it a means of our salvation in the aakhirah for our Prophet (s.a.w) has said "The charity you give will be your shade on the day of judgement" Sahih at - Targheeb.

May Allah accept all our efforts and enable us to use our minds, bodies and strengths to bring comfort and ease to others across the world. Ameen thumma Ameen.
