Story
My brother developed hereditary spastic parapelgia in his late 20s after being a very healthy and athletic young man. With watching his independance and mobility deteriorate over the years, its now resulted in him requiring a mobility scooter to continue his normal life. With his condition preventing him to work, its impossible for him to raise these funds alone. This is where I’m asking for help from you to help change his life.
Hereditary spastic paraplegia (HSP), refers to a group of inherited disorders that are characterized by progressive weakness and spasticity (stiffness) of the legs. Early in the disease course, there may be mild gait difficulties and stiffness. These symptoms typically slowly progress so that eventually individuals with HSP may require the assistance of a cane, walker, or wheelchair.
