Homelessness is on the rise in Scotland. So far this year, 34972 homeless applications have been made to local councils and many more thousands resorting to sleeping on the street. After spending some time supporting a charity in Glasgow delivering warm meals to those sleeping rough, I asked them directly "What can we do to help?", the overwhelming response was not food or money it was actually for a sleeping bag. With winter fast approaching, we want to support those most vulnerable and raise money to help provide some sleeping bags and pillows to those on living on the streets. The average cost of a sleeping bag is £7 however any donation will go a long way in providing a small bit of comfort to those in need.
