Hello!

My name is Shirelle and I am an Australian teacher who has been teaching in London for the past 9 years. I am returning home to Australia soon to continue my teaching career and starting to think about my move.

Packing up my life has been challening, but what has been even more challenging is battling with the thought of having to leave behind all the beautiful, special and helpful teaching resources and books I have collected over the past 9 years.

During my time here in London as a teacher I have developed a large collection of wonderful stories, teaching books and resources that aid lessons both academically, personally and socially. There are teacher resources and books to help with literacy, numeracy and reading, as well as beautiful picture books on a range of topics to support personal growth in children and also to support topic teaching over a range of subjects. The thought of giving them away, selling them or leaving them behind is not a nice thought to have and this is my last resort to getting to keep these beautiful and special books and resources so that i can continue to use them and take into schools to share and teach other children.

I do not have enough funds myself to pay for extra baggage for my journey home for items so heavy, so I am hoping for a last minute miracle to help my keep these lovey books in my life! The money donated will go towards paying for shipping costs to transport the books via seamail (the cheapest option), to get the books back home to me in Australia.

Any donation whatever the size will be very welcomed and i will be forever thankful and grateful!
