I was thinking about how hard our firefighters work all year round to help keep us we go about our day to day lives, whilst we sleep at night and when it comes to christmas and newyears eve. Our firefighters leave there families at the time when family should be together. Our firefighters give up there precious time with there families all year round especially in the christmas period. So why dont we as the community that they work hard to protect all year round chip in and help to pay for the christmas day and new years day lunches as a thankyou to the firefightters of seaham fire station for doing what they do under the pressure of the budget cuts and underpaying. Because despite this they still go out to protect us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks of the year. So lets give the GREEN, RED, WHITE and BLUE watches of seaham fire station a christmas and new years day lunch to Remember. Any funds left over after paying for the lunches will be donated to the firefighters charity. No donation will be too big or too small.
