Story
I would like to introduce you to Tristin Stewart a 15 year old from Strabane.
Last year Tristin was diagnosed with Synovial Sarcoma, a rare form of cancer. Tristin underwent surgery which involved having his right leg amputated and having his foot reattached to his knee.
Tristin has vowed that he will one day run again, to make this possible he must purchase a prosthetic leg known as a blade which will cost $35,000.
To help raise the much needed funds I will be taking part in the 1866 Magee Wild Atlantic Marathon on the 8th of July, my son Ciaran will take part in the Strabane Lifford Half Marathon on the 13 of May.
