Story
Myself, family, friends and LONSDALE work colleagues will be taking part in the 25km Waendal Walk on 13th May 2017 to raise money for TEAM JESSICA, my beautiful girl suffering with PCDH19.
Jessica is nearly 5 and still struggling with communicating verbally, she is developmentally at the age of a 2/2.5 year old, still not mastered toilet training yet and still needs help in all aspects of her life. PCDH19 has caused Jessica to be hospitalised on several occasions, our first stint of 8 weeks was when Jessica was only 13 months old and the worst of her seizures was in January 2016 when Jessica had a 45 minute status seizure in which she stopped breathing twice.
Please help me raise money for this small charity looking for a cure for PCDH19 to help girls like Jessica.

7 years agoThank you to everyone who has been kind enough to donate...your money will go along way to funding research into finding a cure for pcdh19. Currently Jessicas challenge is we found she has a kidney stone. After battling with the gp to get a referral for months as jess had reoccurring urine infection blood tests and an ultra sound were finally granted and the result. A 3mm kidney stone in her right kidney. Now another battle starts in trying to get a paediatrician appointment before our schedule one in August. We need a cure desperately.
