Story
My husband and I were staying with relatives at their home in North Tenerife when this lovely girl showed up at the house. She was starving, ridden with fleas and mange, limping and scared. We gained her trust, fed her and deflead her, nursed her back to health. She has connected with me and my husband and we have fallen in love with her. We contacted many rescues that are unable to take any more dogs, we are out of options if we wish for her to have a good home. Every penny donated goes to helping her get her vaccinations, her crate for a flight, her flight and microchipping.

7 years agoWe are now over the halfway mark, 70% of the funds raised to bring Zoey home! Princess Zoey was taken to the vet today to have her shots and be microchipped. What we thought was mange, are actually scarring from someone burning her with cigarettes. I cried when I heard the news. I knew she was badly treated but hearing exactly what caused those marks really really got to me. It's so sad to know what these poor dogs go through at the hands of their owners. Every pound really is helping... so THANK YOU from the bottoms of our hearts, THANK YOU.

7 years agoWe said goodbye today to Zoey and Tenerife, but our aunt and uncle are caring for her until we can be reunited. We are currently researching transport companies, she goes to the vets on Monday to get her vaccinations and microchipping
