In the last 16 years of running our Sensible Dogs business, our dogs have helped us rehabilitate hundreds of dogs and to help their families to understand their dogs better. We have fostered mostly aggressive dogs because it`s our passion and we can help them overcome their trauma and go on to find their forever homes. These dogs have all suffered trauma in their life`s from people mainly and just need to feel safe to begin to heal. The dogs that have come to us have been the lucky ones.

But, unfortunately hundreds of dogs are killed because they haven`t been given a chance, look a certain way, Or there is limited places that can take the misunderstood souls.

If I was a dog, I would of been put to sleep many times. I too have suffered trauma when I was growing up and this can still affect me at the age of 41. My dogs have helped me overcome huge mountains in my life, just by not giving up on me. They have saved me as much as I have saved them.

My dream has always been to work with dogs, help owners understand their dogs better and help save as many dogs I can. Well, I have a successful dog business and get to work with clients that need help with their dogs. I love working with dogs that show aggression because usually they are just misunderstood and need a little extra help in finding their way in life. Seeing them blossom in life is the best feeling in the world for me.

So, the plan is to buy a place where we can run our established business, to be able to foster and rehabilitate the dogs that need that extra help to blossom. If any of the dog/s can`t be rehomed then they can stay with us and help other dogs build their confidence.
