We're developing areas of the main forest garden site for different parts of our wider community. Sure, mostly the forest garden site is being planted up with productive plants - food giving, free and nutritious. Herbs for your culinary delectation, a quick piece of fruit as a snack, something to cook up for later enjoyment (make some jams for that extra-special gift?)

But amongst our neighbourhood there are those who have expressed a particular wish to have an area for different activities;

Some people have expressed a wish for areas providing "solitude and seclusion", to deliver therapeutic activities; this could be for play, art and music therapy, to encourage interaction between visitors, maybe to promote the development of communication and social skills, or perhaps for contemplative relaxation and soothing meditation, to promote health and wellbeing (or just somewhere to read a book?!)

Areas of the orchard will be for adventures; for bug hunts and the "wildlife" components of the community (mini-beasts and little monsters, including children!), there will be space for mess and a path that meanders through the orchard to encourage exploration and help every creature of any sort sleep more soundly at night.

How about theatre, storytelling, art and dance performances? Who wants a space for that? How would that look?
