Story
Hi,
We come up with an idea to raise money for Sevenoaks PFC which is a wheelchair football club based in Kent. We are raising money to provide more wheelchairs and necessary equipment such as a hoist.
This is important because for people with a disability to play football it is a much harder task than it is for the average person because a pair of football boots may set you back up to £50 where as a wheelchair and equipment costs thousands.
Playing wheelchair football enables people in wheelchairs to play their most beloved sport and to say that they play football for a club.
Wheelchair football is a national competitive sport which is played all over the world in league and tournament matches which the club holds training sessions for every Sunday. (everyone is welcome to come and watch)
The first team have recently made history at the club by being promoted to the National Premiere League for the first time and with the new chairs and equipment this will not only give the option for more people to join and play the beautiful game but also help the club in achieving more.
The way we raised money was by holding a 24hour gaming event in which people will come along and devote themselves to playing their favourite games for 24hours on the go.
This was held at Elite Gamer in Westcliff-On-Sea on June 19th which they kindly let us hire it out at their expense.
