Dreghorn Fire Crew are attempting to Kayak the 60 miles of the Caledonian Canal to raise funds for Andy Adams' rehabilitation and future needs. Andy sustained life changing injuries, including paraplegia, in the line of duty.

7 years agoJust a quick update on our Kayak challenge. FF John Duddy has worked his wee socks off getting help for the challenge and has secured us a 9 seated people carrier from Arnold Clark. This is going to help us greatly on the logistics of the challenge. FF Stevie Young has received a generous donation from Geronimo Sailing in Ardrossan, who will be donating clothing for the event. http://geronimosailing.co.uk/

7 years agoWe're all very excited today. We're meeting staff from Morison's in Troon, who are kindly donating shopping vouchers as well as water and soft drinks to help our team challenge. Thanks to Ex RDS Crew manger Ann-Marie McDowall who jumped at the chance to put out case forward to the Morrison's branch. Your support is very much appreciated
