I'm going to Gujarat, India for a month in January to work with the NGO Shaishav. It's estimated that there are anywhere between 20 and 100 million children in the labour force in India. Shaishav engages children at risk in activities that protect their right to childhood, enable them to reach their full potential and become citizens that enrich society. https://shaishavchildrights.org/

BBH - the advertising agency I work for - is sending me as part of The International Exchange (TIE). TIE places professionals in the communications industry with organisations in developing countries, to assist them with communications challenges.

My brief is to help Shaishav develop communications tools to encourage donations from Indian businesses. Shaishav has a major gap in its fundraising and needs to diversify its sources of income in order to survive.
