Ryan was 9 would have been 10 in march. He was terminally ill only had 2% brain activity, wheelchair bound needed 24hr care. He was on oxygen, a cocktail of medication everyhour on the hour. He was fed through a tube going into his bowl and had a 2nd tube going into his stomach so that the stomach acids to come out. He had kidney problems and dystonia which was uncontrollable his head was by his feet most the time! He had no muscle tone at all, although he had all of those complex needs he was the happiest most cheekiest little boy you could ever meet, he'd flutter his long lashes until u gave him a shower of kisses, he had his own cheeky little personality and an amazing smile and just got on with it, never cried was always happy! He tragically passed away in november after nine years of fighting against all odds, horrific longs stays in and out of hospital. The months leading upto him passing was horrific for his saint of a mum and gorgeous brave older brother who also has his own complexed needs. So not only has vicky had to deal with one terminally ill child she has been supermum to both of her complexed children for 11 long painful years! As you can imagine the cost of a standard funeral is a bomb but an extra special funeral for a true miracle costs even more! Vicky has struggled too pay The costs ofnthe funeral and is still paying it off. This money is to make sure that her gorgeous little boy can have the headstone he deserves and to pay for the cemmetery fee's and any outstanding debts from the funeral.
