Story
In the summer of 2019, I am taking part in a placement in the Dominican Republic with the company Gap Medics. When I am there I will be volunteering in local hospitals and shadowing doctors and nurses. Since I have been set on studying Medicine for a while now, going on this trip will allow me to experience the life of a doctor and what the job entales. I really want to take part in this once in a lifetime oppurtunity so I can gain skills that I will need for the highly competitive course and also volunteering abroad will boost my oppurtunity of making my dream of studying Medicine a reality.
