Dearne and District are embarking on a big transformation.Currently we have been working to secure leases at the Kingsmark Ground and Recreation ground.

We have:

- Built dugouts,

- Put a path around Kingsmark pitch and have commenced work on a carpark.

- Got temporary buildings for a clubhouse/bar at Kingsmark.

- Agreed with Barnsley council to refurbish our changing rooms.

- Put in temporary accommodation at the Cricket Ground.

But we are now embarking on our biggest challenge. We are aiming to build a new Pavilion at the Cricket Ground. This means securing a 25 year lease, while working with the football foundation, local council, community groups and local big and small business.

We are aiming to build a sporting facility to safeguard the club, while allow us to invest in our children's future. The building also aims to be a community hub allowing the indoor space to be utilised by the community of Dearne.

We have engaged professional support, but are looking for the support and expertise that the people of Dearne have to offer. Help such as writing letters, producing community news and action flyers, planning events, raising funds.
