Creatasmile is a registered charity that was founded in 2009 by Sharon & Cllr. Edward Bateman after their only son Benjamin was diagnosed with High Functioning Autism.
The charity supports children and young people with autism, adhd, global development delay and additional needs and their immediate family.
The events include:
Family fun sessions - where the person with the disability can be themselves and where sibling and parents can meet people in similar situations and make friends and gain support.
Parent support coffee mornings .
Day trips and outings.
The Creatasmile centre .
The Mayors allotment project.
The charity is run entirely voluntarily and the team are people who all have children with autism or special needs and so are totally empathetic.

Gareth Wynne Roberts has kindly named Creatasmile as one of his charities on the runs that he has entered the Snowdon Marathon being one of them.
