£1,150raised of £250,000 target by 48 supporters

Weʼre raising £250,000 to help set up a therapy centre for young people battling eating disorders and addictions in Northern Ireland

What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

On March 17th 2018 I lost my precious daughter after a long battle with bulimia. She was only 21 years old. So many times she was turned away from hospital for 'not meeting criteria', and although suffering from the most fatal of all mental illnesses, she never once received one counselling session. My goal now is to set up a therapy centre for young people in Northern Ireland, as we have no adequate facility here, and also to provide respite and support for their families.

It's not a lot, but hope it helps in some way. More awareness and help is needed for treating this and I hope you raise the amount needed for your therapy centre. X
