So most of you will know that I'm a neonatal nurse, it is my mission every day to ensure that the babies in my care and their families have the best possible experience at an extremely frightening and stressful time. To support this the unit needs the best equipment available for the babies but also facilities for parents to be comfortable in this alien environment. To help towards providing this I am abseiling down the maternity block (make a change from running up the stairs to emergencies)!
