My son Dylan is part of the Saphara team 2018 a group of six form students from 3 Bangor Schools consisting of Bangor academy, St Columbanus college, and Bangor Grammar who will be travelling to India in October to work with disadvantaged children living in poverty in India.

Saphara is registered charity which engages with young people from all communities in Northern Ireland to work with impoverished children in India. The money raised helps provide the building of classrooms, toilet blocks, and science labs, paying for teachers salaries, school uniforms, midday meals, and providing university scholarships.

Ultimately the education provided could potentially enable them to improve on there future life living in India.
