A lot of you know my story and have followed me during my weight loss journey.
I am setting up this page because I applied for skin removal from the NHS but they turned me down saying I can get it done myself, and that I am not in criteria ! I have no idea what criteria you have to be in to get help. I have not been a burden to them at all I have not asked for any help I have done this through sheer will power and determination.

My story is that I have always been on the large side from as far back as I can remember. I used to lie to myself that I was happy but I now know that I was not happy at all I was lying to myself.

I unfortunately lost my dad to cancer and it made me realise that life was so short and that I needed to lose weight, I want to see my children grow up and see my grandchildren.

I was so used to being verbally abused every time i walked down the street ppl I do not know calling me names being really horrible.. it killed me inside every comment every snigger it hurt!

I weighed 28 stone 2.5lbs when I first walked through those doors and I have never looked back, I have now lost 16 stone 3.5lbs and that has left me with excess skin which now the NHS will not fund my procedure.

I am saving all the money I can myself towards the procedure but it will take me years so this is why I have been persuaded to make this page up

I am not asking for you to donate thousands of pounds but every little will help, so if you would like to donate I would really appreciate it.

Yes I will have haters along the way but I have had that all my life... this operation is the icing on the cake so to speak for me !

I also hope that I have inspired ppl along the way.... I hope that as you have followed my journey it has given you hope that it can be done
