Me and the mother of my child have been in an on-off relationship for nearly three years, it has been a rocky rollercoaster as I am sure many of my friends and family reading this know, we both shared custody over Scarlett, our daughter. We broke up in January, and, with the help of social services, we both came to the agreement that we would each get to spend 4 days on, and 4 days off with our daughter. This schedule was based around my weekly work schedule.

This process had been working smoothly up until 1st April, when myself and the mother got into a disagreement and out of spite, will no longer let me see my daughter, and I now have to go to court to plead my case as to why I should be a part of my daughters life.

My problem is that the mother is currently not in employment, as she is looking after our daughter full-time right now. This means she is entitled to free legal representation at our upcoming civil case to determine who has custody over our daughter. As I have a full time job, I am not entitled to this and I am left to either self-represent myself in court, which puts me at an immediate disadvantage, or fork out thousands of pounds (which I do not have) for official legal representation.

The mother is going to court in hopes to gain full custody of our child and stop me from ever seeing my daughter again.

I am here asking for the smallest amount of donation to be done so I can afford real legal representation to help me have shared access to my daughter. By no means, am I looking to seek full custody of my child and take her away from the mother, I strongly believe we both should be apart of our daughters care and upbringing, as despite our differences in our relationship, we both are good parents and love and care for Scarlett very much.
