Dear all

The last few years have brought challenges to many people, none more so than my mates, Angela Squires, Julie Wentworth and Rachel Lambert, who have all had to deal with cancer and everything that goes with it. Most recently my old friend Lou Squires has made the difficult decision to have surgery to try to prevent her following in the path of her two sisters.

So as an outsider looking in and feeling useless, I have decided to try to raise some funds for the Jigsaw Unit in Bournemouth, who have cared for them all. My friends will know I have had the same hair style ( I use this word loosely ) for all of my adult life, I'm known for it - along with the checked shirt and pint of beer. It's time for it to go.

On November 14th - 12 noon I'm allowing the girls to shave my hair. I'm hoping and praying you will all DIG DEEP and we will be steaming it LIVE on Facebook so check in and watch so you can witness this momentous occasion.
