Thanks for visiting my Just Giving Page! As some of you may or may not know, I have recently lost my Uncle James to Liver Disease.

My uncle James who was 47 and known to many as "H" was diagnosed in 2013 and was awaiting a liver transplant. His first appointment was scheduled for 27th October 2016 however up until this appointment James fought as hard as he could and sadly passed away on Tuesday 20th September after a difficult battle which he could no longer fight. James leaves behind a loving partner Joanne of 28 years and two heartbroken loving sons Jamesy 13 & Thomas 9.

Due to these circumstances Joanne has not been able to continue working with the constant care for James whilst he was ill. Following James's passing Joanne now has to care for their two boys alone without any income.

As James's niece I would like to try and help Joanne in raising some funds to help her get back on her feet for her and her boys. By doing this I am going to be an absolute lunatic and shave my hair off... yes you heard right! (My Uncle H would have loved this and had a front row seat laughing his head off.. watching me having my blonde hair all shaved off) I can almost hear his laugh now.

A lot of people will think I am absolutely mad for doing this, but the way I see it... is my hair will grow back but my cousins won't get their Dad back and Joanne won't get her soul mate back.

No matter how small or large from 1p to what ever you could afford, all donations would be greatly appreciated and will tremendously benefit Joanne and the boys at this difficult and sad time.

A benefit night will be held in memory of James (uncle H) on Friday 25th November 7:30pm @ the Carters Arms Kirkby L32 2AD. Everyone is welcome to come and witness me (Lauren) brave the shave in aid of the funds raised. I am hoping to also raise awareness for Liver Disease during this fund raising event.
