    Story

The Lowestoft and Halesworth Kuk Sool Won schools are carrying out a 12-hour sponsored ‘jail training’ session for twenty students - one hour of which I will be instructing - in February 18th 2018 in order to raise money The Oliver Hall Forever Fund (Meningitis Now) and the WKSA Korea Kids Demo Team, who are scheduled to travel to the UK to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the World Kuk Sool Association.

Each person participating in the sponsored event is aiming to raise at least £60, and so we expect to raise £1200 as a minimum. Half of this money will go toward funding the Korean Kids demo team’s visit to the UK whilst the other 50% of funds raised will be donated to the Oliver Hall Forever Fund (Meningitis Now) which was established following the tragic passing away of six-year-old Oliver Hall last year due to meningitis.

Oliver had taken part in an introductory class at the Halesworth Kuk Sool Won school prior to his passing and his story touched the whole community, including members of the Lowestoft and Halesworth Kuk Sool schools, some of whom are friends of Oliver’s family. The Oliver Hall Forever Fund aims to prevent tragic incidents like this in the name of Oliver Hall, through raising money to support for those facing meningitis as well as funding research into new and improved vaccines to save lives.
