    Story

Freedom from domestic abuse She Beasts Winter Appeal

Will you help us save and improve women’s lives this winter?

In the year ending March 2020, 1.6 million women in England and Wales experienced domestic abuse (ONS) while at least two women lose their lives each week at the hands of a current or former partner. (Refuge)

She Beasts offers a free lifeline to domestic abuse survivors using fitness, mindset and nutrition coaching as the tools to transform their lives. The community interest company was founded to support women regain control of their circumstances by giving them options to develop physically and emotionally, but also financially with a new career.

Without your donations, we can’t offer this much-needed safe space and support.

Our pay-it-forward scheme recycles a portion of client’s personal training fees to fund workouts for women living in refuges and supported housing in the West Midlands. It’s a great help, but isn’t enough.

Here’s how She Beasts could use your donation:

    £5 helps towards a one-hour fitness class

£10 helps towards new workout clothes for women to train in

£25 helps towards a behavioural coaching workshop

£50 helps towards a 12-step programme, which is the first step towards financial freedom and gaining a new career with She Beasts

Women can access personalised programmes and ongoing one-to-one support with She Beasts. However, to continue to do this, and partner with vital organisations like Birmingham and Solihull Women’s Aid (BSWAID), it’s crucial to grow the business…so we need your support!

She Beasts needs more rebounders and fitness equipment for sessions. We also need to raise our profile with costly PR and marketing. Donating to our £15,000 winter appeal guarantees we can be a lifeline and a community for women affected by domestic violence across the region.

Can’t donate money? What about your unwanted gym clothes? Provided they’re in a good condition, we’d be happy to accept them. Please email Sadie Jones at sadie@shebeastscic.co.uk . #shecares
