The aim is give Sheffield's Homeless community hope this Christmas, hope in humanity and hope for the future. I don't think anyone could understand how difficult it is to be homeless, let alone be homeless at Christmas unless you have been there. I am trying to raise additional funds to be able to purchase basic essential items, so that even the people living on Sheffield's streets get a Christmas gift this year. Something as simple as a rain poncho, to help keep them and their few possessions dry, a foil blanket to help keep them warm, some basic hygiene items and a bit of food. It's not a lot, but makes a big difference. I am also asking for item donations and volunteers, so if you can only give a little (£2 minimum ), it will be gratefully received and put to good use.
