I discovered FollyFoot Healing with Horses a while back. A not for profit organisation started by two wonderful sisters, Sophie & Claire, who inspired me. Given my passion for horses, they sparked an interest and I was keen to learn more about what they do.

The charity supports cancer patients and their families in many ways and use the therapeutic powers of the horses to help them overcome the obstacles that will inevitably come.

In addition, Follyfoot provide therapeutic services for anyone with mental health issues, learning difficulties, autism, trauma, illness, depression, challenging behaviour and many more conditions by working in partnership with the horses to help improve physical, mental and emotional well being.

I am extremely passionate about this cause and would love to raise money for two reasons;

Firstly, to support a number of my clients by financing some 1-2-1 sessions at the centre and secondly, to raise money to support the charity directly, to allow them to continue their amazing work.

FollyFoot are the only Equine Therapeutic Centre in the UK. I know from personal experience how these animals can help you in your wellbeing and there isn’t a cause I would want to support more.
