On Thursday my grandma was sat in front of her house with her grandchildren and her little Yorkshire terrier Teddy. Teddy was asleep under my grandma's chair and was on a chain so he couldnt wonder onto the busy road she lives near.

Out of nowhere came staffie/pitbull followed by to men. The dog pinned Teddy and mauled him for what my grandma said at least 10 mins, she said she thought Teddy was already gone and she couldnt even look.

The 2 men hadnt even had a collar on this dog let alone a lead or muzzle. Teddy had lumps of flesh missing from his back, ear, leg and tail. Nobody believed Teddy would make it through as he isnt a young dog, he is 11 yrs old.

Thankfully Teddy did make it through and vets decided he was stable enough to have his operation. Teddy had over 100 stitches and is having lots of pain relief and more importantly lots of TLC.

The attack was reported to the police and dog warden on the day and nothing was done. No visit to my grandma nor the owners with the dog until today!

The dog had again attacked yesterday but this time it has bitten a mans face. This wouldn't if happened if something had been done Thursday.

Now my grandma who is a pensioner and has very little money has a vet bill for over £700 with no chance of the owner of the dog paying as it seems they have a drug issue!

PLEASE HELP TEDDY AND MY GRANDMA!!
