Dear friends, In truth this journey started in February, when I decided to start running. But this dramatic chapter began right at the end of August, when I asked you guys to help me raise money for the church & centre. My personal goal was £1000. I raised £2110 and the first grand was matched, which has taken us to £3, 100. There were 9 other runners and their money is coming in bit by bit - I think we will touch £4K. Which leaves me beyond thanks and beyond words. You were brilliant - a huge thanks to each one of you. #gotheextramile

Hi everyone! Just back from holidays... and amazed to find out that people kept on giving and today we just crashed through the £3000 barrier... Am excited and overjoyed. Thanks everyone so much. The donations page is open for another 11 days... so who knows we might get to £3200. Given that our initial target was £1K and that the rest of the team have raised a further £1K.... I'm super delighted. It's a good news story that won't appear on the News at 10, but it's made me feel glad.

Hi everyone! Just to say our intial target was £1K. We smashed that totally and completely. So I've reset it to £3k because were only £300 short of that.
