Story

Kathleen and her son jamie are shaving their hair off to raiss £1000 to help get millie a Roger pen this will be held at Ninians church on 24th of June at 2.00pm.

All money raised will be going towards Millie Mcleod’s Roger pen. Millie has a moderate to sever hearing loss and needs a Roger pen, the Roger pen is a device that is worn around the neck of the person talking and the pen wirelessly transmits the sounds and words into millies hearing aids blocking out all background noise. This pen will improve her quality of life and also keep her safe when traveling on foot as she cannot hear because of passing traffic. The cheapest Roger pen is around £900 but we are trying to get one that will last a long time for Millie.

Jamie is such an amazing boy he struggles himself daily as he has autism and is classed as non verbal so everyone could do imagine how hard it must be for him too, he also thought of this idea all by himself too he just wants to help! The fundraising itself will also be going towards Jamie’s duke of Edinburgh award 🥇❤️
