Staff are taking part in colour obstacle rush to raise money for Sherwood forest.

Sherwood Park School—Sherwood Hill Campus
Sherwood Hill Campus is a new secondary school for pupils aged 11-19 years who have a diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Disorder and Complex Needs. Our pupils often struggle to learn in a classroom and often learn best through accessing a range of alternative methods of teaching.
Forest School

Forest School is an inspirational process, that offers ALL learners regular opportunities to achieve and develop confidence and self-esteem through hands-on learning experiences in a woodland or natural environment with trees. Sherwood Park School has set up a designated Forest School area on the Sherwood Hill site and funded the training of a forest school teacher. Staff and friends of Sherwood Park School are fundraising develop this site, with increased resources for fuse by pupils. This includes:
Fire pit area with seating
Pond and water wall
Music and sound wall
Tree house
Wood cutting area
Barefoot sensory path

With the help of these resources we expect to improve outcomes for pupils in the following areas:
Self-esteem
Confidence
Independence and life skills
Develop positive relationships with self and others
