After being asked what I’d like for christmas by friends and family I could think of nothing other than wanting to help support animals in need! I have asked that anyone who was thinking of buying me something (however big or small!) donate the money or a small sum towards the sanctuaries instead.

I have decided to split any proceeds between 2 causes, the first being Hugletts Wood Farm Animal Sanctuary in Dallington; Hugletts Wood Farm provides sanctuary to cows and their friends. A home for life to farm animals and birds, rescued from the misery of the meat and dairy industry and the horrors of the slaughterhouse. Hugletts Wood farm is the only farm animal sanctuary in the UK that operates a dedicated Cow Protection Program. It is also the only vegan farm in the UK that runs such a sanctuary!

Secondly I will be supporting F.R.I.E.N.D. Farmed Animal Rescue in Kent which started on a cold monday morning at Seven Oaks market in the early 90s with the purchase of a lamb by Marion Eaton. Little did Marion realise how that day and that £1 purchase was to change so many lives. It was not long before it was recognised as a one woman, little sanctuary with a big message. It was Marion's intense and driving desire to let the people meet the animals that were considered to be food and change that mindset.

I’d like to be clear in that this is not me asking everyone for money as I appreciate no one really has much right now, but I’d be grateful for any donations anyone can manage or if anyone would share this page and lastly if they’d like to do the same for a charity of their own choosing this year too!
