Dear all,

Thank you for visiting our page for The Shipston Community Christmas 2017. The event was started in 2016 because we did not want anyone to feel alone on Christmas Day.

This is a free event being held at the Townsend Hall on Christmas Day, and we would like to invite anyone who might find themselves on their own, and who would prefer to spend the day celebrating with others.

We recognised that social isolation can be harmful at any age, particularly at Christmas time and our aim is to bring the community together to help and support each other.

We intend to have entertainment from the Town Band, Christmas Carols, 3 course meal including a traditional roast turkey main course and a visit from Father Christmas.

We really do value every penny that is donated to make this event possible.
