Alexander Goodwin is a remarkable young boy currently fighting the battle against a rare form of bone cancer that has seen him travel half way accross the world to recieve treatment that will save his life.

On 8th June 2016 Alex and his family recieved the news that he had been diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma of his right femur. Since then they have visited the US for pioneering surgery and treatments. This is an ongoing process that will see him travelling back to the US every few months. He is also recieving private physiotherapy at home to help him recover from surgery.

Alex’s father, Jeff, is a serving firearms officer with Warwickshire Police who has put his life on hold to support Alex and his family in everyway possible, even writing a book documenting Alexander’s Journey to raise funds for his ongoing treatment.
