Story
Assalamu Alaikum.
Inna lilahi wa inna ilayhi raji'oon
We have set up this fundraiser in memory of Shuaib Hussain, who has returned to Allah. Those of you who knew his story will surely understand why this page is so important!
For those of you who knew Shuaib, knew what a Kind, Gentle Soul he was. He always had a smile on his face and would go out of his way to help whenever it was needed. He was loved by many and his death has affected alot of people around him, family, friends, collegues, people who met him. We pray Shuaib finds peace. It is our responsibility to help him now that he has passed and this is one way of him to get continuous reward in the Hereafter.
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Charity does not decrease wealth, no one forgives another except that Allah increases his honor, and no one humbles himself for the sake of Allah except that Allah raises his status.”Source: SahiḥMuslim 2588
We are hoping to raise a minimum of £1300 for the construction of two deep-water wells (Max 180ft depth) in Pakistan. £650 per well.
"Every living thing is made from water” (Quran 21:30)
Water is a blessed thing but there are so many people who struggle with gaining access to clean water. With the help of you, our brothers and sisters, we would like to raise this money to help as many of those who are less fortunate.
Let's aim to reach this target as soon as possible and give this gift of on behalf of our friend, Shuaib.
"O Messenger of Allaah, my mother has died when I was absent. Will it benefit her if I give in charity on her behalf?” He said: “Yes.” He said: “I ask you to bear witness that my garden that bears fruit is given in charity on her behalf.” (Bukhari).
The Prophet sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam said:
“The best form of charity is to give someone water.” The Holy Prophet (PBUH)
Remember, this type of project is Sadaqah Jariya (continuous charity). The true reward is with ALLAH so please donate any amount that you can.
JazakAllahu Khairan
