I'm 2012 a lovely lady that I befriended called Nora passed away. Nora had no family, was mainly housebound and really relied on befriending to have someone to chat to, have a cup of tea and tell her wealth of stories to. We became good friends. For the last two years myself and my amazing family and friends have hosted a winter celebration to give more people who may be by themselves at Christmas a chance to enjoy a celebration with a Christmas dinner, entertainment, a glass of bubbles and people to chat to. I am doing this again this year and looking to invite even more people on 17th December. £15 would sponsor one person to attend. I am also looking for volunteers and nominations of people who may be by themselves. Thank you to those who helped make this happen last year - you are very kind people xx
