Story
In the summer, myself and 15 other selected UWE students will be travelling to South Africa to the province Kwazulu-Natal. In pairs, we will teach in a local township school for 4 weeks and live with a host family. I am excited and nervous for this opportunity but I am looking forward to gaining new life experiences and skills I can use in my future teaching career. The trip is completely voluntary and I will be funding all travel and accommodation costs myself.
I am raising money for the project itself, Project Zulu. All money raised will go directly to the project and be used towards things such as funding new equipment and resources for their schools. Every student on the trip, including myself, has been set the goal of raising £150 before we go, however we will be doing all we can to raise as much money as possible for Project Zulu! I would really appreciate anyone who would like to support me in this experience and donate to this wonderful project!
