'Sid' came into our vet practice in March, suffering from malnutrition, severe chronic skin and ear disease as well as severe dental disease.
I was appalled by his condition and suffering so persuaded the previous owner to relinquish ownership to the practice to allow us to help him get better and re-home him.

'Sid' has been already started on treatment for his conditions, but it will take several weeks for him to recover. He will also likely require lifelong management for his skin.

We are currently looking after him until we can find him a forever home. He is a shy and sweet boy who I'm sure will make a great companion for someone. He is around 9 years old.

Any donation towards his care to pay for treatment to include pain-relief, anti-inflammatories, antibiotics, medicated shampoo, skin creams, dental work, vaccinations and parasite control would be greatly received.

NB: His name has been changed to protect the identity of the previous owner. 'Sid' came to be due to his overbite... Like Sid the Sloth in the Ice Age movies.
