    Story

Our dear friend Martin McKenna was a beautiful soul, he had a passion for Illustrating, his son and walking with his dog Nel, admiring the nature around him. His art has been featured on album covers, in books and movies. He lived in lincolnshire for the past 6 years until moving to scotland in July 2020, where he was astounded by the beauty of the place.

Sadly in September of 2020, Martin took his own life. He leaves behind his son and his lifes works.

This fund will be a lasting tribute to him and will be used to provide Art workshops for disadvantaged children, living in our area.

We aim to provide all materials needed and classes run by local artists. Ultimately we would like to provide the opportunity to the wider community to reach as many budding young artists as possible!

So important that young people have a chance to be creative and express themselves. A really worthwhile initiative.
