I'm Simon & my partner is Helen we're both born 17th July 1975. 2017 we said its our year! How wrong was we... Returning to work in January 2017 on the second day I had a bad accident at work leaving me unable to work & pretty much immobile ruptured tendons to both feet. Eventually I returned to work in April but amounted debts by not working... Working hard to pay for our already booked holiday in that July we managed to get away to Torquay, unfortunate for us, we both came down ill which ultimately ruined the holiday. On our return home & back to work on Helens 2nd day back she was held up in an armed robbery at her work place & beaten, left bound up along with colleagues. She did not return to work there & eventually after 2 months got the courage to find a new job. Unknown all that time Helen was pregnant, on December 17th 2017 I was woken to screams of pain to find Helen coiled in pain in our bathroom, panicking I called NHS hotline but before I could speak Helen was screaming there is something pushing out of me... I looked and could see the head whilst trying to call 999... I was instructed to try and deliver the baby but she wasn't coming out, paramedics arrived but also struggled, we got Helen to the ambulance and the paramedics said another team was on the way to help but there was no time to wait so we set off. We drove 5 minutes and suddenly out she came along with lots of blood, I could see she wasn't alive & the other paramedics arrived and all of the fought to save her as we travelled to hospital... There the team of docs whisked our baby away while others took care of Helen, we waited & waited & then the doc came with the news.... "Sophie Star" the name we gave her was declared stillborn full term & that she had died inside Helen several days earlier... We was both in shock & devastated isn't even close, Helen was off work quite awhile with no income, we amounted more debts... I can pay my bills & my debts. We just can't afford a break away
