Centre 33 is a local charity that looks after the Welfare and Mental Health of young people within our community. With the recent Pandemic and lockdowns childrens Mental Health has deteriorated. Centre 33 provide advice, support and counseling for young person's and I feel this vital in the current climate.
I help to coach an under 9s Football team and the pandemic has impacted on this too. The whole club has suffered throughout as we have not been able to generate the money we normally would.
I would like to raise money for both causes so I can help support the youngsters in the future. I have suffered with my Mental Health in the past and found support invaluable. To deal with it as an adult is hard enough but to go through it as a child I couldn't even begin to imagine.
To raise money I am going to cycle for 24hrs on a static bike in my garage starting at 10am on 17th July and finishing around 11am on 18th July (this to allow for 20 minute breaks every 4hrs)
