Story
We have ran out of the space in our main office and are having to move the Vice Versa Project and the Young People Service upstairs.
It will be amazing for the projects to have their own space. It will mean a safe and friendly space tailored to the needs of the individual work being done.
Supporting. Believing. Listening.
We get the keys on the 7th February!
Can you help spread the word about our campaign?
Maybe you and your colleagues could host a Bake Sale?
Could you sponsor a desk? A chair? Or a cushion? The small things matter so much to make our rooms safe, comfortable and friendly.
You can make a difference to the people who have experienced sexual violence and/or exploitation and need our support.
Vice Versa:
Vice Versa promotes the health, rights and dignity of women who are involved in exchanging sexual acts for some form of payment. This payment may be financial but may also take the form of drinks, drugs, food or shelter. We call this sexual exploitation or prostitution, but you might have a different name for it.
Young people Service:
The project provides free, fun and interactive workshops for young people aged 11-25 years around preventing sexual violence. Working from the Preventing Sexual Violence Resource Pack designed by Rape Crisis Scotland, the Sexual Violence Prevention Worker delivers the sessions in mainstream schools, off-site education, colleges and community groups. From this work a need emerged to provide support specifically tailored to young people.
We need you to get involved! Like our Facebook page, follow us on Twitter! Spread the word!
